I encourage each player to dig deeper. The objective is to know and achieve their full potential on and off the field. Whether it is an improvement in receiving a ground ball or greeting someone in the grocery store, I expect my players to view every interaction as a way to reflect God’s image. I strive to ensure that each player going through this program can face life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. I expect each player to value themselves and those around them. 

 

I want players to play baseball the right way: with maximum effort and good sportsmanship. I want them to know that winning begins and ends with the right effort. I coach with the philosophy that getting kids to do things the right way and with the right attitude will put the player and the team in the best position to win. If we win tournaments and my players don’t know how to respect an umpire, we fail as a program. I’d rather lose the right way than win the wrong way.
